Explore Beira Interior on a route that combines excellent wines, regional flavours and unique heritage.

Start the day in Pinhel's city centre and take the opportunity to visit the castle, then head to the Adega Cooperativa de Pinhel and discover the history of one of the oldest wineries in the region.

Then discover Aforista Wines, a family project where the vineyards were ‘conquered from the granite’. A unique terroir well worth a visit!

Stop for lunch at Restaurante O Petisco and try the "Iscas à Generosa" paired with one of Beira Interior's wines.

After lunch, drive to Souro Pires and, 15 minutes away, meet producer José Madeira Afonso and his Casas Altas project, visit the winery and enjoy a unique wine tasting.

End this wine tourism journey in Vila Franca das Naves (30 minutes away) at the Beira Serra Wine Cooperative. This producer has over 50 years of history and tradition.
