The Beira Interior Wine Region spans a vast territory that includes twenty municipalities, which includes the Intermunicipal Communities of the Beiras and Serra da Estrela Region and Beira Baixa.
The region has a rich historical, natural and cultural heritage, in which wine plays an important role.
The Beira Interior Wine Villages project was born with an ambitious vision: to transform the region of Beira Interior into a wine tourism destination of excellence in Portugal.
This initiative combines the wine experience with gastronomy, heritage, nature and the culture of the region.

The Solar do Vinho da Beira Interior is located in the historic city of Guarda and is also the headquarters of the Beira Interior Regional Wine Commission. This Welcome Center is one of the starting points for discovering the region.

The Solar do Vinho da Beira Interior shop is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 12.30pm and from 2pm to 5.30pm and at weekends from 3pm to 6pm.
